Moving Beyond Strong Bones (2.5 hours)
Our current concerns of thinning of the bones with age is not as important as the bigger issue of advancing frailty in our entire body with age. We will look at practices and principles to support a healthy skeleton, musculature, and our entire body as well.

The Newest News in Yoga for Healthy Aging
In our second session of the day, we will look at the newest exciting research finding that support the use of yoga as lifestyle medicine, and look at several supportive sequences to expand our “healthspan”.

Inflammation Nation: the Hidden Fire
In our final session, we will look at how yoga is helping to combat the hidden inner fire, inflammation, which is at the root of so many health issues of aging and do a practice to dampen and put out the fire!
